It is snowing in Buffalo NY

We are getting a real snow storm here. We are a little southeast of Buffalo and we have about an inch of snow. Buffalo and the northern suburbs are getting the worst of it. There have been all kinds of weather advisories and travel bans scrolling across the tv all night. The snow is so heavy that there are numerous trees down and power outages. The weather report says we will get 3-6 inches overnight, and the chance for more tomorrow.

They closed the airport,thousands of electric customers are without power and they said that some of them won't see power until Monday or Tuesday. Most if not all schools are closed for tomorrow. On the weather broadcast they said this early storm is unprecedented. They also changed the forecast to 10-12 inches in some areas.

Wow! That's terrible! My DD say's you can go snowboarding....
The weather guy on tv say's that early snow is not an indicator of a bad winter. In fact he said snow in October usually means an easier winter. I hope he is right. I hope you all aren't snowed in today.
