    Thanks so much...it is always nice to receive positive feedback. I have always used a simple sugar cookie with royal icing ( and some fondant as well) to decorate cookies. I recommend the website, www.cakecentral.com as they have excellent recipes. tutorials on decorating cookies and cakes, as well as countless pictures of cakes and cookies for all occasions. (I have a lot of my cookies posted there as well under my name, Yankeegal) I also use clipart, stickers, greeting cards, wrapping paper, magazines, calenders, napkins, etc... for ideas for cookies as well. Anytime I see a cute picture, I start wondering how I can make it into a cookie. There are countless cutters as well, and a lot of the sites that sell them have an example or two of how to decorate them. Once you get started, it is addicting.

    Sugar cookies are always at the top of my lip smacking favorites. I could never keep them made up b/c I'd eat each and everyone and I'm not kidding Everytime I see your avatar I have a craving They do look yummmmmeeeeee.
