    Default Power is back on

Thursday night just after I posted about snow in Buffalo, our power went out.We were forecast to get 2-4 inches of snow, we got 20 inches. We have 4 trees in our front yard and two of them lost a lot of branches. Our street was impassable by car and walking you had to watch for downed wires. Saturday I was trying to clean up the debris and got really tired, I sat down in the living room and closed my eyes. When I opened them I was looking out the back windows of the ambulance that was taking me to the hospital. I had a bout of hypoglycemea with a blood sugar level of 37, that was scary. Well the power came on yesterday evening but around 200,000 are still without power acress Erie and Niagara counties and some won't get their power back until next weekend.

I'm glad you've got you're power back....but...happier that you're home. Get lots of and don't overdo it. Sometimes I think God sends us messages to slow down (Like the snow) and we being who we are don't quite get the message as quickly as we should. (Frequently guilty of this myself....its always rush to get it done) Take a bowl of soup or a cup of coffee when the sun comes up and find some undisturbed snow to gaze at out a window and know we're sending good thoughts from everywhere to you. I'm so sorry that happened. I'm sure it was really scary waking up like that. You were missed here.

I was wondering why you hadn't posted after that, and was curious about how much snow you had. So sorry you got sick, take it easy. Glad your power is back up, cuddle up and stay warm.
