    Default Happy Hump Day

    Good Morning All!

As Mr. Roger's used to say "It's a Beautiful Day in the neighborhood."
Awoke to 73 degrees this morning at 6:30am.
Had morning walkabout in the early light with DH in the garden for city dwellers we've got alot of bird activity here.
Sent DH and DS off to Plant City paint job today
    Put down recycles
    Fed furbags
    Started load of landry

Have a simple list for today
    Take DD to school
    Go to bank get money
Go to bookkeepers office pay bill
Go to paint store pay bill
Go to cable office pay bill
Go to post office buy stamps
Go to grocery pick up a few things
Come home unload dishwasher and refill
    Pick up DD from school
Heat up dinner - Leftovers from friends meals tonight
    Fold and put away landry

Looks overcast now and weatherman is calling for rain we need it.

Good Morning! It's 55 here right now, but only supposed to get up to 60 for the high. As long as it doesn't rain anymore.... I'll take it!

So far today I've emptied the dishwasher, fed the dogs and made a pot of coffee. Time now to sit here at my PC and check out the boards... lol

    Not alot going on today....

    * laundry
    * sweep, vacuum & wash all the floors

It's pretty nice outside today, maybe some rain later on but for me:

de-clutter and take garbage out (tomorrow morning is pickup day)
    heat up leftovers for dinner
    wash dishes
Clean up back room (its a mess since our kitchen remodel)
    Straighten up around house

    RELAX and take a break!

Rainy and we have already hit our high temps for the day. Kids are off to school but it is just a half day. I had a pep-talk with them this morning to let them know what I expected done by the time I get home (regular daily chore, catch up any missed chores from this week and all clean clothes put up properly). I have laundry to do tonight. As a motivator, they will get to pick out movies or games for the two days they are off school this week if their stuff is done. I have to shop for groceries for the rest of the week tonight as well.

    Happy Hump Day

It's a cloudy warm day here. Already 60* and it's not even noon. I'll take the clouds if it means I'm not freezing & don't have to turn on the heat (haven't yet).

I've already run my errands, did a wee bit of Christmas shopping (stocking stuffers), started laundry, picked up the bathroom & my bedroom and the dining room. Still need to run the dishwasher, make my bed, & make dd's cheesecake. But first I'm going to sit down w/ a cup of cocoa, work on my lace & watch Knitty Gritty

THEN I'll make the cheesecake & brownies. After I pick the kids up from school I think I'm going to run to the library & drop off our (overdue ) library books before heading home.

We are meeting my parents & dh at the Chinese restaurant around 7-ish.

Not a lot going on today, but for the first time in about 5 weeks I actually feel rested.

    *Got up, showered, and dressed
*Had lunch with my office friends - the official plant closing is tomorrow. I hung around in the office all afternoon and we just chatted for a few hours. No work to do since they're closing down.
*I have the evening to myself again since DH has class. My goal for tonight is to work on the bathroom - I've been pretty good about cleaning a little bit of the shower every morning, but the floor hasn't been mopped in probably two months (yikes!). If I have more time after that and feel up to it, I'll start back up in the nursery - we have so much stuff that still needs to be organized.
