    Default DS brag!!!

DH and DS#1 went hiking today. While they were on the trail, DS#1 found...a full wallet and sunglasses . This poor guy's credit cards, his DL and cash were all behind the bench they sat down on. They theorized that he sat down, and the stuff fell out of his back pocket. Any way, DS#1 handed everything over to Dad so we could get the info out to the owner. The buy had one of his own business cards in his wallet, which is great bcause he's unlisted. The only down side is that he probably won't know his stuff is safe until Monday when he probably checks his email/voice mail.DH emailed him; I voice mailed him. I just hope we hear from him soon so we can get his stuff back to him.

It's really great that you have raised such an honest child. I am sure the guy who lost his wallet thinks he will never see it again, especially the cash. He is really lucky that someone like your son found it!

No matter what happens with the guy who lost the wallet, you have raised a great kid! A parent can only hope that the lessons they teach will be implimented later on. Give the boy a pat on the back for all of us here.

We haven't heard from the guy yet, but figure that he hasn't checked his email/voice mail yet. I'll keep you posted!

What a great kid, and great parents! (Let us not forget that some parents would keep the money even after the kid was honest enough not to.)

So many times people just take the money and credit cards, toss the rest in the garbage and take off. Congrats on these wonderful honest men you have!

Well, the gentleman called. He asked that we take some money out of the wallet and mail it back to him Priority mail. I am sending it out tomorrow.

I love it when I can brag on both of my DSs and they would BOTH have done this!
