Default I WON a Kate Spade "Katy" Wallet!!!!

For the past week our local radio station was running a contest called "Your Worst Ugly Betty Moment". All you had to do was mail in your worst picture. Everyday, they picked a winner to receive a Kate Spade "Katy" wallet. Yesterday was the last day. I figured, oh what the heck. I will send in my 6th grade picture, taken in 1986. Oh, it was aweful. Big permed hair, braces, glasses. LOL Well, I WON. Chilli, one of the radio personalities, actually said to me (on air) "Did you really think you wouldn't win with that picture?". LOL, oh it was so funny and so exciting! I don't know if I was more excited about winning a very expensive wallet or being on the radio!

The wallet has a retail value of $189-$265, depending on the size. I am not sure if I will get the large or small wallet, not that I care.

I just had to share with you all. I am still so excited!

Good for you. Can we see the picture? LOL By the way I have one that can probably beat it. Permed hair, big glasses and all.

We must be lucky (knock on wood). One time at a company Christmas party we won an entire set of Cutco knives (in the wooden block), cutting board and serving utensils. We looked it up online and they sold for around $600. I can't imagine paying that much for kitchen knives. At another party we won a boombox. We gave that to Toys for Tots. That felt great! One time at a conference my DH was attending he won a palm pilot (I think that's what they are called).

I haven't decided yet. I will see if it's the large or the small one. My wallet now, and I have had it for probably 10 years, is rather large because I carry the checkbook in it. If I sell it, the money will go toward the deep fryer I want. I think I would rather have a kitchen gadget then an expensive wallet.

I'm with you on that one.... When I read your post, I thought about my wallet. I got it for 50c about a year ago and it will last me some years from now..... on the other hand...$200ish could be put to good use!!!! congrats again.
