Name one thing that you want more then anything in life other then being dept free??
Mine would be to own a Big House (for a family of 6) with a basement...thats the only thing that would make my life and my families life totally complete..

I want to be able to buy my son anything he wants. I'm not saying I will ever buy him everything he wants--all that makes is a spoiled child---but I want to be in the position to where I can.

OH I suppose I could say 'world peace' or something... but at the risk of sounding totally self-absorbed I'll say:
a 3 bedroom, well insulated, in good shape, house on 10 fenced, somewhat wooded acres, paid in full, OR a very low mortgage with wood heat, and good out buildings...preferably in the interior or northern cariboo.
>sigh<

Pathologically independant.
If I can only afford it at WalMart I can't afford it at all.
AKA thespinnychick.... only because I couldn't remember my password. Dork by nature.
I would like to go beyond debt free to FINANCIAL INDEPENDANCE where my family and I can choose how to spend our time rather than any of us HAVING to go to work. If we want to help my aunt run a new electrical line, or shop for the soup kitchen, or spend the day learning something new, or dropping everything to help a very sick out of town relative, or going to my boys school activities, or spending time listening to dad's newest therory, and so on. We try to stay conscious of these things now but our time always seems rushed.......so the finanicial independance is what is needed.....for what I really want ....to be in complete control of our time... .(now that it's written out it kinda sounds to me like immediate retierment for both my husband and myself)

What I want more than anything is to be able to chose to marry my fiance without all the hassles that we have to go through now. We're just like any other couple our age in that we just want to be able to get married and start our life together, but unlike "normal" couples we have a lot more to deal with. My fiance is German and so before we can even get married and be together we have to deal with getting visas, paying the huge fees, the possibility that the government could say no to him coming, and being able to afford a lot of expenses for the whole process. Then we can get married and have all the normal hardships everyone else has when they're young, fresh out of college and just married. So I would get rid of the visa/expensive part and just be able to marry him and be happy...
but life isn't like that and it'll be a couple of years most likely before we can be together and get married. He's worth the wait.
