Home Today
Hi all! I had to stay home today because the baby came down with Pink Eye. Although they are changing the rules about pink eye (not giving drops, not making kids stay home, etc.) I didn't know what the daycare rules were and I needed to either call for a sub or go to work. Not a hard choice. I took the day and have been spending my day with Matty.
He and I went to ShopRite and then have just been playing together. He just went down for his afternoon nap, so I'm checking mail and the net quickly, and then I need to finish up the laundry that I worked on all day yesterday. I'm also going to take around a grocery bag to fill with trash to just declutter a bit more.
I cancelled my piano lesson because even though I clean off the piano keys and everything else, if the kids touch Matt's face and then the keyboard and I miss it, I'd feel terrible if my lesson got pink eye. One less lesson won't kill me.

I hope he feels better soon. I got eye infections a lot when I wore contacts - it must be a lot worse if you're a baby and don't understand why it hurts!

I do hope the pink eye goes away quickly and doesn't hurt him too much. My DD17 had pink eye last spring. It wasn't a pretty site.
