What time do you go out trick or treating?
They don't have a set time here, some people say to go at 5 - 5:30. That seems early to me! Just wondering what time you go.

Thanks for the quick answer! In PA, we had a set time we had to go, but I guess that they don't down here. There was nothing in the paper, etc...

The set time here is 6pm-8pm. We usually turn the lights out around 7:30 because that's when the teenagers without costumes tend to show up. We don't open the door to them.

TOT'ing is from 6-8 pm in our town. Dave just left to take the girls around their friend's neighborhood. They'll be back w/in an hour, and I'll take them to the few houses in our neighborhood.

It's from 5:00 to 8:00 here. I just take my kids around our neighbor and then get back to pass out candy.

There's no set time here. All the stores in the mall hand out candy from 3-5 but my kids don't get home until 4 so we never make it for that. We usually go out around 6 or 7, but this year we started at 5 because it was already
-10 and I wanted to be back in before it got really cold.

We have an ordinance that says if you go it must be between 6-8. We do not hand out candy since we are on a dead end street and my kids are the only ones here. We load up and head to G-ma's neighborhood.

There is no set time around here. I took Julia (5) and Patrick (2) out at 5:15, when we got home from the town Halloween parade. We were back by 6:00. It was dark then, and they were starting to get scared of things that go bump in the night. We came home and had dinner and we only had 7 trick or treaters, but the last one wasn't until around 8:00.

We don't have a set time we have to trick or treat, but generally it starts right at about 6pm to 8pm.. Last night by 7:30 people were done.. It usually isn't cold here in Oregon at Halloween-just really really rainy. This year it was just down right cold when the kids were out, and we aren't use to the cold, give us rain and we deal with it.. LOL... I did have Trick or treater at 9:30 last night, but it was one of the boys friends whos mom didn't get home til late (I am assuming), and hit just a few houses....
