Did anyone else watch the CMA Awards last night?
I couldn't believe my eyes when they announced Carrie Underwood as the winner of Female Vocalist of the Year. Faith Hill's reaction was priceless!

I couldn't believe
how ticked off Faith seems to be, you can see her mouth something (I had to rewatch it after I read some of the comment some of which were very rude) about winning.
Unreal

I actually watched last night, and couldn't believe what I saw!! If you look close when they show all the female singers....you can see Faith says something...like "I can't wait" or "wait"....then after it is called, she puts her hands up in celebration...then the "WHAT"???

Gosh I like Faith, but didn't she know she was on camera??
I like Carrie Underwood too, she was so thrilled!

That was priceless. Faith Hill seemed very overly confident that she was going to win. I guess she never learned that over confidence is a fault. I am very happy for Carrie Underwood, but I did not think that she deserved the win last night, I would much rather it have gone to Sara Evans or Martina McBride.
If anyone watched Sara Evans performance last night and saw her guitarist playing behind her, really cute curly headed guy
that they showed a lot of, his name is Clint Chandler and I work with his mother. I think she must have been having a very proud Mommy moment last night.

I watched this, but missed Faith Hill's reaction (don't know how??)!
But I went onto to the CMA website this morning & there was a little note about her behavior & how they had contacted "her people" & they had said that it was just a joke & how Faith would never disrespect another artist! I'm not sure what she meant when she reacted this way, but unfortunately when your in the public eye, you just can't let your guard down!!
I would hate to think that Faith was serious, she's such a down to earth person & I've always thought of her as very gracious & kind.
Carrie Underwood is an awesome singer & I was glad to see her recongnized for her talent!!
Okay, a little off topic!! For those of you who watched the entire awards, does anybody know the group who sang the song, "Bones"? I missed the announcement of their names & caught the song & thought it was really unbelievable!!! They had unbelievable harmony & unless I counted wrong, it was 2 females & 2 males in the group!! Anybody? I would LOVE to get this cd!!

I just love Carrie Underwood - was so happy she won both awards. I would have been happy on the Horizon award if it was Carrie or Sugarland - -like them both. I am also a huge Kenny Chesney fan - he is so nice to look at!!! I was thrilled he won!!!
I saw Faith Hill's reaction last night but was not sure how to take it. Now I guess I know she was being rude/ poor sport/ disrespectful - however you want to classify it.DD (19)

I watched it but didn't get a good view of Faith's reaction until it was replayed on the news this morning-- I was watching Carrie's face as she won. She was so sweet on stage- you could tell it was a total surprise to her.

I really think it was a joke (her reaction). Like when she was back stage and they said her name as a nominee and she was looking all around. I just thought it was her way of joking. Obviously she knew the cameras were still on her.

Wow! When my 9 year old saw a replay her remark was.." Well, I guess that just goes to show you that you can't always be the prettiest, & the best, even if you have the cutest husband." I almost died laughing. We did revisit how important to remember that "someone" is always watching what you do.
I hope in my heart that Faith was just fooling around, but there will be speculation and I'm glad that Carrie won but I'm really more of a Martina fan truth be known. It doesn't really matter either way to me.

I would truely hope that some one like Faith Hill would not actually mean to be that way, and hope it was truely in a joking way...
