Shell and Hollyhill, are you two okay

I seen the record amounts of rain lower B.C. has received over the past several days and I was wondering if you both are okay?

Do you know where in BC they are? Most places are okay - wet, but okay - but the fraser valley was hit harder - maple ridge, mission, chilliwack are all battling the water and mud but the evacuation alerts are being called off now. Luckily the rain is slowing down some now.

It was really coming down the other day...we were all doing about 30 in the 70 zone because you couldn't see past your hood and the water was 4-6" deep on the road... I kept thinking "this is the perfect setting for some Stephen King scenario...."

Oh, CJ! You are back!!!! I just popped in and saw this post!

I am fine and I assume Shell is too. We both live on the same high hill on opposite sides with opposite views. She views west. I view east. But it has been treacherous driving reguardless of where you live. The heavens just open and dump on you (the only way I can describe it). Washington state is worse off than us.

Holly I'm so glad you are okay. It always amazes me when I hear news from specific areas of who I think of. You and Shell both came to mind immediately when I watched CBC news last night.

There's a lot of localized flooding here. All of it is in the same places that flood every year.

We're on a high hill, so we're okay. I think I might rust though.
