let your loved ones know how much they mean to you
one of our employees came in this morning crying like there was no tomorrow, i took her to the office and she told me that her and her sister had a little fight over some mail, the sister left to avoid any further conflict. the sister got in a wreck, is now parilized and they are not sure if she will make it or not.
i came home and thought about my sisters , i called them just to tell them how much they mean to me and how much i love them. life is truly to short to let little things come in between family and loved ones, please take the time to tell all those that you care about how much they mean.
thanks and you are all loved and cared for

Yep, had a similar thing happen to my family... We had our family Christmas party in 2004 the weekend before Christmas, and saw the whole family... Fast forward to the day after Christmas same year to a phone call telling me that my uncle had been murdered trying to tow someone (who had already killed his roommates in Washington), from a snow bank. He was a tow truck driver... Talk about a slap in the face.. I am very fortunate to have seen him the week before... I always tell my family I love them before getting off the phone with them, or before I leave... There can never be too many "I love you's" in a lifetime....

Very true. I met a man once who had gotten in an arguement with his father and to him to go to hell two hours before his dad had a heart attack and died. I can't imagine those being my last words to someone that means so much to me! I try and always let people know I love them, but I'll try and pay a little more attention.

My brother died Dec. 26, 2006 of melanoma. He was 47 years old, and I made sure that he knew how much I loved him, and I made sure that I would have no regrets about anything. I spent so...much time with him especially during the last 5 years through his hospital stays, surgeries, Dr.'s appointments, etc. I even spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day overnight in his hospital room talking and listening to hymns together. It was the most unselfish thing I ever did, and the hardest emotionally, it honestly rips me up inside to this day, especially thinking back to what I was doing with him this time last year, but I have no regrets.Tell the people you love , that you love them, and don't let anyone in your family leave the house etc. until you remind them that you love them. Life changes in seconds, and not always for the better.

It is so true that you never know what tomorrow will bring, or even in the next hour!! I'll have to remember to let my family know how much I love them every day!
