Snopes is awesome.
I had my doubts about her claims. Even if they're true, how many kitchen cleaners do you have that you'd rub across your child's face? Letting kids use chemicals unsupervised is a bad idea.

This is true!! I wouldn't let me kids have access to any of my cleaners let alone let them "scrub" their face with them.
Mine are older now too, so I guess maybe I'll keep using them.
They seem to work magic on things I thought were ruined!

I have only tried these things one time. Thanks for the link. I will make sure to wear gloves while using them.

I was wondering why she let a young child use any household cleaning aid without supervision. I honestly thought to myself she is the reason hair dryers have a warning on them telling you not to use in the shower and why hemroid (sp?) creams say not to take by mouth. I feel bad the kid was hurt and am glad he will be ok, but she should have been watching him closer.
