    Default UGH!!

My basement is flooding--i have moved and mopped and sucked and squeegeed and Im so darn tired and sore. I finally gave in and called DH. I hated to do it as I knew he would come right home to help but I also worry that he hasnt been at this job for very long. With our past history of him being jobless for soooo long Im still a little wary I suppose. On the upside its Thursaday and I can watch Greys Anatomy tonight

Oh i am sorry to hear about the flooding. We had water in our basement a few times and I know it is really hard work to move everything and clean up. Hope you dry out soon!

ARe you in BC Gypsy? There sure has been a lot of water around later and more on it's way.... I feel for you...floods are an awful lot of work. Also I sympathize with your wariness about calling dh in when he's new in a job... I wish for you that everything is fine.

I know what you're going through. Our pump is working double time tonight. We've had many, many floods in our basement which is a finished basement where the children's bedrooms are. DH is in the process of replacing the sheetrock, carpeting, etc.
    Good luck!!

I am so sorry you are having to deal with that. My Aunt's basement used to flood if we had heavy rains. I know it is a pain.

What a nightmare -- I have had that problem myself. I lost patience and ended up throwing a bunch of stuff away instead of trying to dry it out. I wish you well.
