Default Who gets a flu shot?

I never have but DH, being a firefighter who goes to countless medical aid calls, swears by it and gets one every year. I hope I am not jinxing myself, but I can't remember when I last got the flu. Being a baker, I am a compulsive handwasher and I think that really helps.

I am diabetic, have kidney disease and a few other minor illnesses so I have to get one. Also everyone who lives in my house does as well. DS has asthma so he would regardless, DH & DD also get one every year. I also get the pneumonia shot every ten years as well.

I'm getting one. Normally I don't, but last year I was so sick a couple of different times and I swore that I would get one this year.

Since I work in the medical field and am around patients all day, I always get one. I also make my Dh get one just in case since he works as a salesperson.

Everyone in our family gets one every year. Better safe than sick in the hospital or worse.

My DH and I could get them free from work, but we don't.
I do not like the idea of a virus inside my body, and am afraid I will get sick from one. At least I am not as extreme as my Mom, she thinks a flu shot can kill you!!

We usually get a cold once a year, but last year I did not get sick for the first time, and I think it was because I switched shifts at work.

Like Heather, I am in the medical field and around patients all day so I always take one. I am a firm believer in them .
