Glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
Have you grounded him now from using power tools without supervision?? You know you would never have to make one of these calls to him because of horrible quilting accident. That's the difference between men and women.

I'm glad to hear your dh is ok, thats a scary experience. When dh and I did the living room this summer putting new floors in, every time he turned the saw on to cut a piece, it sent chills up my spine.
    I hope he heals ok.

I bet that just about scared you to death. The same thing happened to a friend of ours some years ago, but he actually cut off two of his fingers. Thankfully, his wife is a nurse and she had the presence of mind to collect the fingers and put them on ice and take them to the ER. They were able to reattach them. I'm glad your DH is doing better now and thank goodness that saw blade was not 1/4 " higher.

OMG!!!! I can only imagine how scary that must've been!!!! My DH gets injured more often than most.....thankfully my phone calls come when he's already at the hospital or on his way. I can't imagine knowing he's hurt and that I have to go get him to get him there. Hope he heals quickly.
