    Default Need help please..... LOL

I'm a dunce when it comes to new gadgets that are all the rage with kids. My friend asked me to find the best Black Friday deals on the net for her so she won't have to search all over town on Friday for different items.

Well she has an IPOD on her list and I was too embarrassed to ask what it was. Can anyone please tell me? Oh and what category would I look under in each store ad? You can all stop at me now!

    Thank you!

Heres the site for the spple ipods. http://www.apple.com/itunes/ Just click on the various versions on the page (Nano, etc).

As for the sales ads, I think they'd be listed under electronics. good luck in findind a good sale for your friend. hth

    Youre welcome.

You can get the smaller ones for $150 or so, but the new video versions and larger hard drive ones are just as Tammi says quite a bit higher.

the sales Ive seen are usually not priced based, but bonus gift items added. I might have missed others though.

Just an FYI - when I bought my MP3 player they told me don't by the IPOD brand - they don't hold up as well. I got a great MP3 player witha huge memory and photo function for around $200 bucks. Check Best Buy for deals on these. You are paying more for the name IPOD - an MP3 is the same thing.

    Good luck!

I have an iPod Mini. I've had it for nearly 2 yrs now and just love it. I haven't had a lick of trouble with them. Dd had a SanDisk MP3 player before her Nano...it broke before she had had it two months
I am interested in that MP3 player that's in the Walmart Black Friday add for $88.?? though. RCA 5GB...anyone have any experience w/ that one?

Uhoh...can you tell me how it broke (ie in what way), Heather? We were going to get these for my dd's for Christmas...and going to Best Buy at 4:15 am to get them.

I don't know. It just stopped working. It was the smallest memory they had, I think only held 100 songs.

We've been using the shuffle (2 of them) and Nano for quite a while now with no problems, DH & our eldest son love them.

DH is pretty tough on his as he uses them while working and its been fine.

Its always good to shop around though. You can usually get a price discount on a current model when the newest version is about to be released.

I had an mp3 player that was a phillips nike one that I used when running, it worked well but the screen got fuzzy after a while and then I lost it when I was moving.
I bought an Ipod nano over the summer and really like it, super easy to use.
My husband wants a video Ipod but that's not in the budget right now, someday.
