Warning about heated mattress pad
They attract kitty piles:

Kitty piles are difficult to remove. They don't budge no matter how much tossing and turning you do. Even turning on the vacuum cleaner doesn't remove them. The only effective remover is to turn off the heating pad

“When you get to the end of all the light you know
and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
you will be given something solid to stand on,
or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller
“Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
there are signs that the world is speedily
coming to an end;
bribery and corruption are common; children no
longer obey their parents;
every man wants to write a book and the
end of the world is evidently approaching.”
— From a translation of an inscription on
an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Heather, you mean you didn't buy that heated mattress pad just for them?
Just think if I had one of those, you wouldn't even see a piece of the top of the bed!

That's funny Heather. I'm sure my poodle would love it if I would turn it on and leave it for her all day. She's always freezing here.
Glad that kitties are cozy.

That is cute! My kitties do the same thing...they snuggle up next to anything warm. There is one sleeping on top of my computer tower right now!

I have thought about getting one of those for my dogs. Since my dog already sleeps about 23 hours a day it would probably not be a good idea though. She also snores so loud she could wake up a bear. I am sure getting her something to make her more comfy would not help that at all.

Aww, your kitties looked so cute. I have a heated throw that I use and my kitty always curls up on it.
