My SD is 16 and of course loves makeup & nail polish. You can pick up kits of both really cheap at Walmart. She also loves lotions, perfumes and bath stuff. With girls this age you honestly can't go wrong with any of this stuff....lol

How about a manicure set, Target had the Paraffin manicure set on pretty reasonable priced.

~The nail polish is a really good idea. I was really into rings at that age. Thrift shops sell gorgeous ones for couple of bucks. Body products are tricky because many girls are picky about scents. Charms are nice and can be attatched to a piece of her current jewelry, phone, bookbag, etc...They run about $5. Dollar stores often have pretty, blank journals. Add a pretty pen. Movie passes or fast food certificates are always appreciated.~

~Oh, I thought of another one. It may not have a lot of Wow Factor on Christmas but they're very appreciated by girls. Popurri drawer sachets or drawer liners. Powder or vanilla is your best scent bet and you might even be able to make them yourself. Very cheap!~

    Default 15 year old gifts

I asked my 14-year-old and she said "clothes, gift cards and more clothes".
They like to have gift cards to go shopping at the mall and also gift cards for Papa Gino's pizza and Friendly's ice cream. Money is always good also. My girls would be happy with $10.00, then they can have a little freedom to do what they want with it. I tend to do money or gift cards for this age because you don't always know what the changing styles are. What is in today is out tomorrow. I have four girls and they all have very different styles, hobbies, likes and dislikes. Gets confusing. Happy Shopping!

I have a 15 yr old dd & she wants makeup, nail stuff, hair stuff, body mists, etc. If she has an ipod or prepaid cellphone, how about those prepaid cards to download songs or prepaid cards to put minutes on the phone?
You can get the "girlie" stuff at a dollar store too.
Mine also wants stuff that's more expensive. LOL

I still think www.silverjewelryclub.com is a good deal. I have several pieces in my stash.

So what is the catch if the jewelry is free?

My two dds like makeup and clothes but they don't want me to pick out the stuff. They aren't going to have any surprises on Christmas.

The catch is that they charge $6 for shipping/handling. And the other catch is that the 'pendant' doesn't come with a chain ... a chain is an extra $3.

But I think $6 is quite reasonable for a sterling-and-garnet pair of earrings. And that's what DD"s getting her friends.

~I just saw bracelet, necklace and earring kits at Michaels or $8. I get 40% off coupons which would bring it down to $4.80.They looked easy to make except the earrings, which, I think, would require a pair of needle-nosed pliars. The kit made 7 pairs of gorgeous chandelier earrings. Craft kits have come a long way from tissue box covers, latchhook pillows and needlepoint bookmarks!~
