Does anyone have a Root Cellar?
Once we get a piece of land I want one...I would love to hear your stories ...Please tell me your pros and cons to having one..Did you dig a hole and put an old freezer in the ground?? Or is it an old fashion root cellar? Please tell..LOL...

I have a cellar here, I use it more for storms in such, we get alot of tornados that come thru here from time to time. I do store some stuff in I'm wanting to put some shelves down there so I can starting canning again and store that stuff. I'm not sure about putting potatoes and that kind of stuff down there though.
