Default Nasty Weather Heading Our Way

Hard to believe because today it was soo mild out. The bank clock read 68 degrees. Tomorrow it is supposed to be extremely windy and some rain. Wind gust could get over 50 mph. What a difference a day makes!

Same thing here. It's been in the 60's for almost a week, but the temps started dropping last night and right now it's cloudy, windy and only 23 degrees. We have a major snow storm on the way too. It's supposed to start later tonight and not let up until about noon tomorrow. They are predicting 10-12 inches of snow for my area

We've had sleet all day. . I'm surprised I still have power! Supposed to get over a foot of snow later tonight/tomorrow. Severe winter storm warning here. Yesterday it was almost 70 degrees!

We have high wind warnings here. I live in Eastern Ohio, near Pittsburgh. We will just be getting the rain, and not the snow. I saw on the news all of the snow that the Midwest is going to receive. I hope all of you are able to stay home and ride it out. Sounds like the snow could definitely cause traffic problems. I hope that our power stays on. I love electricity, LOl !

Lots of ice in Missouri yesterday and now we are having all the snow in the mid section...depending where you are they are calling from anywhere from 2-24 inches..I am in the middle and will probably get a foot of snow. It is soooo cold here. The wind chill is about 0 and the air temp is about 17....slow going to work tomorrow...if I decide to go. I have lots of vacation left...so I may play hookey tomorrow....

I loved the warm weather this week. I had my windows open and was out walking and enjoying the weather as much as possible. Then, last night, it started to rain. It's still raining and we are under a winter storm warning. Not for system snow....for lake effect snow. :-( Why couldn't it be in the 60's all winter here? LOL I am beginning to think I need to move south.....

We found out about his job last year a few days before Thanksgiving so holidays were horrible and lost my job in Jan. of this year. Winter storm warning here in Western Michigan. Has been freezing rain since I woke up at 5 am. Roads are slick and schools are closed today, and they hardly ever close. I guess the new superintendent isn't used to Michigan weather yet. It's windy and freezing rain will change to 2-12 inches of snow, depending on location. Yuck!! I guess that's what Winter is all about but we've been spoiled with 50 degree weather last week and the beginning of this week.

I've decided I'm staying home today. I did have an appointment this morning but for some reason my inner-self told me to cancel it Monday since it can easily be resceduled. Glad I did now.

Hope everyone in the bad weather stays warm and safe.

Time to dig out my boots! The snow started here sometime after midnight. We already have about 6 inches of snow and it's like a blizzard out there. We are supposed to get 12 inches before it's all over with. I really wouldn't mind except I have to do the grocery shopping for the women's shelter this morning. I really do not want to be driving in this stuff.
