    I have to work a double today. I go in in a couple of hours. I hope to be home by 8pm. I may throw in another load of laundry before leaving. I have to iron my shirt.

    I don't do a whole lot on the weekends anymore.

    Have to do: Laundry, dishes, general pick-up that didn't get done before bed last night , order the last of the gifts to be purchased online, finish menu planning.

    Want to do: go to church, work on Christmas cards (they're about 1/4 done), list some things on ebay, clean out the fridge, work on decorations, go to Joanne's for ribbon & one giftcard, go over my gift list & make sure we haven't missed anyone.

    I say "want to do" on some of that because DS is running a fever... I may spend a lot of my day rocking him. That's usually what happens when he doesn't feel good. We'll see how it goes.

    I'm definitely staying in today. It's only 11 degrees right now and only supposed to get up to 20 for the high...Brrrrr...

    I need to sweep and vacuum as usual, but other than that everything else is done. I'll probably read the Sunday paper, clip coupons, and read a couple of magazines. I've been wanting to watch Broke Back Mountain (just recently came on cable here) but DH absolutely refuses to watch it..soooo while he's watching the football game this afternoon I think I'll go off into the bedroom and watch it alone

    Sunday is usually my lazy day. Supper is in the crockpot, nothing else planned to do except clip coupons and scrounge the internet for free stuff.

    Not too much, as it's one of my days off. DH went to get 2 newspapers and I clipped coupons. I just got back from superdouble coupon day at Giant Eagle and now I am going to relax and read for a bit.

    I am doing as little as possible today, I came down with a cold in the middle of the night so I feel icky on top of lack of sleep I pulled out a pork roast to thaw and cook in the crockpot tomorrow and found a recipe online that I have all the ingredients for, thank goodness I have the day off.

    So, I will be watching tv, surfing the net and getting DH to go get me some more OJ.

    JustJoy, I hope you enjoy watching Brokeback Mountain. I liked it so much I went to go see it twice when it was in the theater.
    “When you get to the end of all the light you know
    and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
    faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
    you will be given something solid to stand on,
    or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller

    “Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
    there are signs that the world is speedily
    coming to an end;
    bribery and corruption are common; children no
    longer obey their parents;
    every man wants to write a book and the
    end of the world is evidently approaching.”
    — From a translation of an inscription on
    an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.

    God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
    courage to change the things I can,
    and the wisdom to know the difference

    Up at 4:30 this morning with a headache, scratchy throat and runny nose....AGAIN! Had to put together a few crafts for my Sunday School class this morning. Put a roast in the crockpot for supper tonight. Hubby is working today and probably won't get home until later tonight, but if he can't make it to church, he will have a hot supper waiting on him here at home. He wasn't feeling to well last night. As soon as the sun came up, I fed and watered the goats, dogs and cats. I came home right after Sunday School since I had a bad headache and my throat was really sore (hope I didn't give the kids a bug), I had a bowl of soup, two aspirin, and a nap. I wasn't planning to go back to church tonight, but pastor's wife called and said she called a ladies meeting tonight and I need to be there if I can cause I am in charge of the ladies Christmas ornament sale. So, I will go, but don't know how "with it" I will be, LOL.

    I'm dressed for church, rice and roast are done and set on warm, and I'm here posting and fighting the urge to go back to bed. It's been cloudy and somewhat cool here today with light drizzles off and on. It's supposed to get down into the lower 30's tomarrow night and Tuesday night. It's been in the 70's all this week. This weird weather is making and keeping everyone sick.
