Well when it rains it pours..Murphy hit us hard!
Where should I start?? Lets see last week we had no hot water for one day the elements burned out..luckily my Dh can fix just about anything.. also last week my trailblazer had a rubber burning smell coming from one of the tires..It also needs a wheel barring part that was ordered from the dealer ship last week I called a them a few minutes ago only for them to tell me that the part is on back order..My Dh took my Trailblazer to work yesterday to see what caused the burning smell.. (he thinks that the caliber sp? locked up)he put new brakes on it and changed the oil...so after doing all that to my vehicle after work he's on his way home and got pulled over for speeding doing 71 in a 55 mile speed zone plus a no inspection ticket(it should of been inspected back in Oct) which is my fault since I'm the primary driver and never thought about checking it..he tells me all this then tells me that I need 4 new tires and that one tire is showing bands...OMG if he knew there was bands showing why oh why would he be speeding knowing that????Just wait I'm not done yet..LOL..I just called Child Health PLus to check on my enrollment packet that I sent out in the beginning of Nov for my kids health insurance only to find out that we are over by $20.00 a month and would have to pay the full premium of $103.00 per child...so now I wont be able to get health insurance for them...OMG I think I'm gonna have a nervious breakdown!!!!

My heart goes out to you! I totally understand where you are coming from. Yesterday I was just going to get my tires rotated, winterized, and the drivers back tired fixed due to a slow leak. Well come to find out I needed four new tires. WHOPEE! Set me back $400. Thank gosh for EF! Now I have to rebuild my EF!

I am sooo sorry this happened to you but dont worry things will get back to normal in no time.

Rebecca - I know what you mean, I had a fully funded EF and and unexpected expense came up and totally wiped it out, I am trying hard to rebuild it and will deposit some into it today or tomorrow but we all have the right mind of thinking so we can do it!

Thanks everybody for your support...We just got hit again..just talked to my Dh to tell him the fuel guy just filled us up and left a bill for $442.00 for 152.5 gallons @$2.899 a gallon...last time I checked into this a month ago it was at 1.99 a gallon for #2 heating fuel??? I'm gonna call today to see what the other fuel companies are charging a gallon..if I see a big difference in price I'm gonna call them to see if they would give us a discount...before I hungup w/Dh he tells me oh yah forgot to tell you that your truck isn't blowing any heat..something is wrong with the blower...I don't think I can take anymore for today!

Those big Trailblazers can definitely be expensive.
How sad your children won't have health insurance.
Hang in there.

Thanks again my FV family..You are all so supportive...
Okay I got over my panic attack..LOL.. I tend to jump the gun first rather than looking at it in a more rashional way...I was thinking that some of this could of been my own doing and that I should of looked at this situation in a different light.. instead of going off the deep end...First off it's not the end of the world... and yes I know all of this will pass soon..
So heres a list of the positives: "They say everything happens for a reason"
#1 My TrailBlazer is under full warranty..
#2 My Dh's place of employment gets a discount on the tires I need..
#3 If Dh didn't take my Trailblazer to work to see what the problem was I wouldn't of known about my tires showing bands (mind you I just had it at the shop 2 weeks ago and they rotated all 4 tires and never said there was anything wrong with them!)..therefore he just saved me from crashing my vehicle or worse me dying or killing someone else..like my children!!!
#4 My Dh hates it when I tell him to watch the speed limit...this speeding ticket will make him think about being more aware of obeying the law..I guess he thought that since he is 40yrs old and never got a ticket for speeding that it would happen to him...Wrong!
#5 My Dad personally knows both judges at the Town Court where Dh needs to appear for the tickets..I guess it's not what ya know but who you know..
#6 I will not work that extra 1 1/2 hrs a week for a month and reapply for my kids health insurance..that way we will be under the income guideline.
#7 We hadn't gotten fuel since 2/10/06 and still had 125 gallons left before it was just filled up again..most people don't get off heating their home that cheap....granted we live in a 1997 14 by 80 trailer that has 6 inches of insulation..it holds the heat real well..
#8 We just won't be adding that additional $1600.00 to our savings this month..
#9 We have shelter, heat, our health, good paying jobs, lots and lots of food, and alot of savings for living below our means..Wife to Keith
