Posts that are stickied?
I have a question about all the posts that are stickied and I didn't no where to ask it, so I thought here would be good. A lot of them are very out of date. In the Frugal living section, 1 of the posts that is stickied is the September grocery challenge. I don't think we need that there anymore, but maybe the current month would be good. I notice some here and there and was wondering how long things were stuck for and how to go about removing them, when they were out of date. Thanks!

I'm going to implement a new feature and get rid of stickies. I thought it would help to have stickies separated so I added the feature to have them outside of the regular threads, but it seems that didn't help.
Hope this new feature helps. I'll try and have it working this weekend. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. Ok new feature is added. If you see a post you want to save for future reference, you can click it so you're in the thread, go into "thread tools", then "add thread to favorites". You'll also see a link on the top of posts that says add to favorites. You can use that too if you want. This will then save all of your FV favorite threads and you'll see a link to "favorites" on the top navigational bar menu. These will be your personal FV bookmarks of threads.
People can save what they personally want and then no one is bothered by stickies anymore.
I've removed some stickies and will continue to unstick them, but will give members an opportunity to save some to their FV favorites before I unstick, so no one needs to try and search them out.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online.
