Hello from Alaska
Hello All,
I'm really excited to have found this forum!! My hubby and I have been "living frugal" for a little over a year now. It sure does make a difference in getting bils paid off!
He has decided to go back to school, so we're gonna have to be even more frugal! I'm hoping to get lots of tips and tricks here!
We were both born and raised up here...we've lived in the lower 48 before, though. Produce is WAY cheaper down there...I miss that! But, it's beautiful up here...and it's home.
So, we're working hard to make ends meet.
I'm looking for book suggestions in the frugal category...so far my favorites are The Complete Tightwad Gazette, Miserly Moms (though we don't have any kids the living on one income tips rock!), and Unplug the Christmas Machine. I'm always on the hunt for more books like that...especially if I can check 'em out at the library!!
hehe
Can't wait to make some new friends here! I LOVE to IM (MSN).
Kenzie
