My came home last night, after having worked all day in a hot sweaty kitchen, to find me sitting on the floor of the kitchen, crying my eyes out, with a double batch of chili burnt, a kitchen exploding with dirty dishes, a batch of mutated biscuits and halfway through making a batch of butternut squash soup because I got bullied into a box lunch exchange I didn't want to do. And he hugged me, kissed me, and told me to finish making my soup and he'd worry about the kitchen clean-up duties today while he's off work. Oh, and he also claimed he liked the taste of my burnt chili -- I think he's just trying to be nice, but I really appreciate the gesture.

    Ok here goes.

Dh is an amazing U.S soldier. He loves bing in the Army and he earns the respect of his superiors and subordinates where ever we go
He has the most amazing work ethic I have ever seen
He loves our sons and has been involved in the lives as much as the Army has allowed him to be. He coached their soccer, was their Scout Master etc.
He doesnt care if I work outside the house or not and has told me he knows how much I do
He was so good to my mom. She always told him he was her favorite son in law and she would know. She had alot of them ( 1 sis has been married 4 times)
He loves animals and would never turn his back on a stray
He would give you the shirt off your back
He is good to me. He doesnt hang out in bars or beat me or anything like that.
    I am sure theres more

    My DH is Awsome ,
His big Furry Self and Attitude always makes me forget I'm older.
He brings my dead animals from the sea and shows me how best to cook them
He's willing to admit that he's afraid to go to the south side without me there.
He accpet's that I used to be a gutter punk , that my dad is a gutterpunk and that my friends are weird too.
He brings me random plants home from his travels.
He understands how hard it is raising the baby while he is gone does everything he can to help when he is home.
He dosnt think its gross that i like the smell of skunk , kerosene diesel fuel and hot tar.

My DH is funny, kind and handsome.(And also tall--6'3"!) We first met when I was pregnant and he fell in love with my swollen, pregnant self. (Go figure!) He has always been there for me and he is a great dad, always involved in whatever the kids do. He tells me I'm beautiful (no matter what I look like)and that he loves me everyday, several times a day and he means it. He always thinks of me first and puts up with me when I'm moody or irritable. He helps around the house and gives great foot massages. He's on board with me with our frugality and financial plans. My husband is my very best friend.
