    Default How to dress?

My son is doing is first communion next spring and on Thursday they do their first confession in church.I am wondering how to dress him.I have a new pair of black corduroy pants and a long sleeve red polo type shirt, does that sound ok.They told us last week to not go and buy expensive new clothes ,just dress them well like they would for church.
Im worrying for nothing right .

Not a mom here, but the outfit sounds fine with the exception of maybe the colors? Just IMO, but red shirt and black pants might be a little dark for spring? Just a thought.

My daughter had her first confession a few years ago and it was a pretty "casual" affair. We didn't go out and buy her anything new, she just wore a simple dress and the boys in her class wore different things from jeans to suits. I think the cords sound great - dressy but not "overdressed". We did do the communion dress in the spring, with gloves, tights, and the whole 9 yards (but I got the dress at Sears for $40 and the gloves on clearance for $2). She looked like a million bucks and she felt special on this very important day.
