the weather outside is frightful!!!!
This has to be one the most unbelieveble winters ever. Today they are forecasting winds of 60-75 mph with gusts of 100 mph or more. What happened to our mild winters? We've seen snow, ice or rain/wind storms nearly every week since November. I saw Al Gore's movie last week and what he is saying about Global Warming is proving to be true out here in the old Pacific Northwest. Everyone should see "An Inconvenient Truth". I am not an environmentalist, but he has the facts to prove his theory and if Global Warming is contributing to these big storms we are seeing it!

FF the weather is frightful in the PNW. I need to go to the post office and I don't want to load my car and unload it in this darn rain and wind!! Either I'm getting old and unable to adjust or this is a rotten winter thus far. It use to be fairly mild until Mid-December. Sure rain and gray, but we usually didn't have windstorms and loose trees until January! Glad I'm spending most of winter in Florida.

Hi ladies from Portland, oregon. I love a good wind storm, but wow their talking really bad this time ..and with all the rain, those poor trees are going to be falling. Hopefully everyone stays safe and no house damage. I was going to go get groceries tonight, but I think I better wait a day or two. I just love to watch the wind, I will be home at 3 today and getting the candles and flashlights out....and getting dinner ready.

We are waiting for the storm you have to hit us here in Colorado. Saturday. Seems this year we are getting storms from up there rather than from the north or west.
We have almost gotten rid of all our snow,,, The mountains got 10 more inches the other day..guess we are in for more,
Maybe a white Christmas?

I love it as I don't have to carry water to the barn for the animals

Our weather is just plain icky. It rained away all of our snow, and the sky is so dark that at 3pm it looked more like 8 or 9 pm. We better get some nice fluffy snow back soon to chase away this depressing dark rain.
