Bad day and I can't shake it !
Just need to wine a little. I go to work and there are literally 6 crying, screaming children waiting for me to open playland. I can't even get in the door, nothing like starting the day off in a mood. I try to always just smile and be sweet, but please just let me get my coat off !!! Well I get them all in and mommies on there way and someone is tugging at my sweater, "I have to go potty"....good grief don't you think mommy could have taken her before while they were all waiting....of course not! So I have to page mom back for a potty break. By now there getting impatient and want me to start a movie and when I go to open the cabinet "I want to pick" " it's my turn" "no!, it's my turn !!!" and a pushing and shuving match begins. Well lets just say it was MY TURN. I then had to let a couple more kids in and had a full house...one that I let in is a five year old with Autism and does fine when it's just a few kids and not too loud...but today they were screaming and fighting. Well a little later a couple boys started running around and yelling and I was loosing my patience...the boys had to go for a time out and sit in chairs. Later in the day I got a couple little girls one was really good for me, but her little sister was terrible and kept pushing my fire door and when asked to stop and go play.."NO!" and then would kick the door....paging mom back for this one.....too busy and tired to deal with this one. Let's just say, wow I'm glad that's over...but I can't seem to relax and let it go.
O.k. I think it helped just to get it out...thanks for letting me vent.

Geesh, I loved our Freddie's playland. It was a life saver. DH and I got a "mini date" every once in a while. We worked opposite shifts and it was a way to get a few minutes together and still accomplish something.
I actually had one child who kept having to poo while he was in there. I was always getting paged. It had to be something about sitting down and relaxing and watching the movie.

You know, some of us (like me), really really appreciated you all watching the kids while we got our errands done. It was so nice to get that time alone. Even if you didn't actually watch mine, I still appreciated the ladies that did.
