Punch some holes in them, and make tin can luminaries. My dd made these for Christmas last year, and they are quite cute.

You can wrap christmas fabric around them and glue a bow at the top... OR maybe a can of wishes? Include some strips of paper with a hole punched on one end and add a ribbon (give 10 pieces of paper, 5 with green ribbon, 5 with red ribbon), they can write down their wishes for next year.

You could use them to bake date nut or some other type of tea bread. Not exactly a craft but yummy to eat or and give as gifts.
