O.K., I keep a list on the inside of the pantry door and also on the fridge to write down stuff that we are out of. Dd informs me this morning that we have no more tape to wrap presents. I asked her how long she knew this since she used the tape last week to wrap her gifts for her school friends. She said she knew it then, but she thought I would buy some anyway when I went to the store this past Saturday. Then, not 10 minutes later, bil comes to the door asking for a band-aid for his finger which he cut while doing some work out in the yard for us. I went to get him one and the box was empty. Again, I asked dd about it and she said she used the last one two weeks ago when she nicked her leg while shaving. I asked her why she didn't write this stuff down on the "To Get" list and she said she forgot. Well, she doesn't forget to write down that she needs hairspray, hairgel and shampoo. Dh told her she was gonna have to buy the tape and band-aids out of her allowance today and boy is she upset, LOL. Say's she only has enough money to buy her hair stuff. He told her she would have to do without some of it then cause she is buying tape and band-aids with her money. Bet she remembers to write stuff down next time.
