I Made It Myself Instead Of Ordering Out!
We are going over to my son's house this evening. He and his wife just had their first baby 2wks ago. I said I'd pick up stromboli and we could have dinner together. Then I got to thinking I have everything I need to make it myself, so I did! I made a pepperoni one and a veggie one! Saved us $20 in th process. Have a good evening I know I will. I get to hold and cuddle my new grand daughter again!

That's so nice to get to spend time with the new grandbaby. Being resourceful and making the stromboli yourself is what frugality is all about. You should be proud of yourself.

Um, I had just googled stromboli since I didn't know what it was. It was the first site that had a good description and it wasn't about a volcano.

Hi.I make mini strombolis. You can fill them with your favorite pizza fillings or even leftovers. I use meatballs and leftover chipped steak. I make them either out of fresh or frozen bread dough. Just roll them out, fill them, bake them and freeze. Great for a quick meal or lunches.

Not only frugal, but I'll bet your homemade tasted better than carry-out!

Yum.... stromboli... I haven't made that in forever. I'll have to dig out my grandma's recipe and put it on next week's menu.
