Dirty little secret

I have a small confession.

I try to be frugal.

I try to be eco-friendly.

I however, love the ease of paper plates. Papaer napkins and paper towels are wonderful too.
This year I will try to decrease my consumption of both of these.
Do you have a dirty little secret you want to try to correct this year?

mine would be the paper plates, we only use them when others are over(which has not been much latley) but i love them.

Paper towels. Love 'em. I'll bet the pioneers had a secret stash. If not, how did they survive?

And after the surgery late summer I fell back into using the dryer again, and never stopped. It's SO easy... But do I really love paying electric bills that much?

I'll try to do better this year.

Mine are using the dryer-way too much! And taking long, hot showers! I am working on decreasing both-(just the time on the shower, not the shower itself!)

dryer here too, but if i didn't the colorado winter would leave me with lots of clothes-sicles. But i need to stop using it in the summers

I love paper plates......... I use my dryr all the time....... can't hang the clothes out here they would come back smelling like cat feces and unine. Not a pleasent smell.

I use my dryer almost exclusively.
I don't always wash in cold.
I sometimes leave my puter on if I'm planning on coming back to it later.
I don't turn off all those little passive electricity suckers. (Gripey gripes when I do......)

Recreational shopping! I have to just STOP this one!!!

And I do use my dryer way, way too much. I need to start planning better so I can hang clothes out to dry before work in the AM.

Generally being lazy.....

Mine would be I use my dryer too much. Definitely. Especially in the winter. I have SO much laundry that hanging it up in the winter when it's already cold & damp & it takes so long to dry just seems like a waste of my time.

In the summer, no problem. The clothes dry outside quicker than they do in the dryer. But the winter...definitely my dirty little secret.

You caught me.

I usually don't wash clothes on cold (cold water doesn't kill germs) and I always wash sheets on hot (kills dust mites, germs, etc) and I always use my dryer. I think it's worth the eletric bill.
