happy new year
Hope everyone had a great holiday.I haven't beenon much lately. Just when things seemed like they were getting better my sd got the flu on Christmas Eve, so she was sick through Christmas and my hubby made it to work one day in two weeks since he got the norovirus the same day he went back to work from Christmas vacation.. At least I haven't got it but I have a nasty headcold and sneezed so much I pulled the cartlige(sp) in my ribs.Hopefully after all this leaves things will get back to whatever normal is. It's been so long that I forget what that is
. Everybody have a great year.

Thanks everyone. One good thing so far we haven't had an over abundance of snow, just rain. We'll probably get it eventually but I like April weather in January.

Oh, owweee on the torn ribcage cartilage. That HURTS! Hope everyone gets better real soon.
I finally got over the creeping crud that I've had the last two weeks of December, now DH has it.“When you get to the end of all the light you know
and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
you will be given something solid to stand on,
or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller
“Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
there are signs that the world is speedily
coming to an end;
bribery and corruption are common; children no
longer obey their parents;
every man wants to write a book and the
end of the world is evidently approaching.”
— From a translation of an inscription on
an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
