    Default Greetings from NW Iowa

    Hi all,
    I am what they call a transplant here in NW Iowa, for I grew up in S. Ca.
    I moved here when I was 29 and love everything about it, now 42, the cold does get to me though sometimes, gives me the dull drums when its gray outside. I am on my 2nd marriage to a great guy, he farms and we live on a farm. I am a SAHM, but this is the busiest job I have ever had. We have 3 kids togeter, 8-10-11 and I also have a 22 year old from my first marriage, he lives in Ca. with his girl friend, great kid!

    I am a G.S. leader, and my kids are involved in 4H, thats how I found this site. I was searching for a chat board for my 12 yr. daughter to corraspond with other 4H'ers about showing livestock, and this site appeared.

    I am not very computer smart, so forgive me if any of that arrises.

    My world revolves around my kids, sports, school, 4H, church.
    I like to wake up and have my coffee while reading the net, DH has coffee every morning with a neighbor that comes over at 6.

    I also like to grow gourds, have many waiting for me to create something out of too. We raise cattle and corn, and soybeans. Kids have chickens too for
    4H along with calves.

    Well that's about it in a nut shell, so thanks in advance on sharing your thoughts and helpfulness in the times to com.

    Hi Sundae, welcome to the village. It sounds like you have it all together, and don't worry about the computer smarts; I don't have any and if I have a problem, somebody in the village helps me out.
