Default GRRRRR Kids missed the Bus!!!

Mornings are never easy around my house. I got the kids up and we had fished every thing was getting ready for the kids to walk out the door and Boommmm The bus goes buy so fast my kids could not even run out to catch it. Would it hurt to slow down and honk the horn.If he just been going the speed limet on the road they could have got the bus. He was speeding GRRRRRRRRRRR.so now kids are home all day missing school. We only have 1 car so I could not bring them.

Wow I am sorry to hear that, the bus driver should honk though especially if your kids are the only ones waiting at the stop. Also, speeding is not good, dont know if I would want my kids on that bus if the driver is speeding, maybe you can call the school about this and the fact that because of it your kids missed the bus.

I have a little boy that I put on the bus in the mornings. His bus was 10 minutes early today, we caught it but just in time. DD#1 took my car to work today so if we missed it we would have been in trouble too. I think he could have honked it's not all that much trouble. I know ours will at least stop for a minute if we are not out there waiting.

I would definitely call the school about that bus driver. Speeding puts the kids who are already on the bus and other drivers at risk. Not a good situation at all.

I have had the same issue with speeding bus drivers. I was to pick up my ds from school one day but instead he forgot and got on the bus. I just followed the bus to the first stop and got him there but, I had to drive 70 mph to keep up with the bus! Scary...

sorry to hear you had a bad morning - around here, the drivers stop at every stop, regardless of if the kids are out & waiting yet - they stop, open the door, & drive on if noone comes running

of course, I can't imagine having ICE on any road and still having school open we cancel school if it SMELLS like it may ice -

Here if the bus comes early they have to wait until after the time. But then we have about 50 kids that get on the bus. I would call transportation and complain. I would be afraid if the buses here speed.

We have a huge problem with school busses and speeding. Many parents drive their children because they fear for their safety. It's irritating since our tax money pays for the busses and the drivers. I would follow up the phone call with a letter of complaint to the princepal and superintendent. There's no excuse for speeding.
