    Default 16 inches!!

That's how much I had taken off today for Locks For Love. My head feels light, lol, like it is floating.

~16 inches and you still have that much left!? You must have been sitting on your hair all the time, ! Reminds me of my childhood.... My hair is your current length and I donated last winter. That light feeling is wonderful! ~

My DS is letting his hair grow out so he can donate it as well. He only has 3 inches of usable growth so far. I think Locks of Love is one of the greatest organizations.
Good for you Missy - your donation is going to make a special child very happy.

Missy that is such a kind gesture. My granddaughter had hair below her rear end and she also had it cut to donate last year. Its almost back to where it was. My hair is your length now in your photo.

I love the new haircut! You look great! I've donated to Locks of Love twice now, and I'll probably do it again late this year. It really is a great organization.

What a wonderful thing to do!!! I lost a very dear friend to Breast Cancer 3 years ago! Her wig helped her to live life as normally as possible...which she had to for her 3 little girls....!

WOW!!!! That was lots of hair. I can't get mine to grow any longer than your's is now. (And I've tried for years) What a wonderful gesture. A few years back a girl I use to work with when she was little and stayed in touch with was a high school senior and was diagnosised with Hodgekeins lymphoma (sp?) in the advanced stages. She had never cut her hair all her life, only trimmed it, hair loss during treatment is hard on others I've seen as well, but seemed especially hard at her stage in life. Her wig seemed to give her some of herself back. For those of you that have that wonderful growy hair and donate I've seen it make a world of difference. What a tremendous gift to give.
