I thoroughly enjoyed the thread about Canada - and it answered many questions that I had also - and I'm sure I could think of a few more -
I noticed that there were a few questions about the US also - and I thought I'd open the book a bit by starting a thread where you guys could ask whatever you wish -

of the questions I remember - I will try to answer myself, but we are such a melting pot of cultures - I'm sure we may have different answers to some of the same questions -

~ Grits are made of ground corn - I believe they started as a 'southern' food, and some people eat them sweet (with syrup) or salty (with salt/cheese) - my hubby is from Maryland & he eats grits w/ syrup/sugar - I'm from Georgia (only way I can eat grits is with salt & cheese)

~ In my area - many grocery stores double coupons - Kroger, Publix, Ingles (sometimes triples)
hubby is stationed in California & I found one store that doubles, it's called Ralph's (it's in the same company as Kroger)

so come on~ ask away!!
