New purses!
Holy cow!!! I was just admiring my friend's new Coach purse the other day and I went online to see how much it set her back. $400.00!!!!! Oh my goodness.

I love purses but never ever ever pay full price for them! Coach is one of my favorites but I am so frugal that when I see the price tag I pass it up if it's over $50, lol

Wow! $400?? And to think that I bought my last two purses at garage sales for $2 each. I can't imagine paying that much for a purse either. Geez, that's almost our house payment minus taxes and insurance.

Geez..400 bucks. I would never pay that for a purse. I carry a very small purse that will only hold my debt card, checkbook, drivers license and some cash. It is so freeing not to have that great big purse on my shoulder. I don't think I have ever paid over 8 or 9 bucks for a purse. I work with a girl that has all the designer stuff and I am glad it is her bill and not mine...LOL..

OMG! That's 1/2 of what I bring home a month. I'm glad I'm taking my chiropractor's advice and have given up my purse carrying except for emergencies only. (It weighed more than 7 lbs).
I can't imagine spending that much on a purse, although I might if I thought I could afford it. Which I would have to make LOTS OF $$ to ever feel like that.

there's a site somewhere, can't remember what it's called, but the point of it is that you can borrow or buy used purses. Saw it advertised on the Today show or something like that.

Even at the outlet stores, Coach is way out of my price range. I think anything over 30 for a purse is extravagant. But, there's a store here in Des Moines called La La Handbags. It sells knock off bags and then after the purchase has been made, they put the tag on it that says prada, coach, or whatever. They are much cheaper and look just the same.

~Eeps! I usually make my purses or buy them at the thrift store. I've never paid more than $5 for one. I wouldn't want to carry something so valuable that I'd be a target for theives. Who would steal one of my old rag bags, right?

I like a new purse every now and again but I'd have to carry that one for the rest of my life to feel 'justified'
