Default Looking for a way to find a *missing* person

Well not literally missing but someone I've lost contact with, in a foreign country. So far I've googled her name, her email addy, sent a few emails and all come back 'undeliverable', etc.. . Anyone have any suggestions on how to find someone? I'd really love to check on her and feel sure she hasn't moved. I only have her name and her dh's name, no physical address that I can find. (I had it, don't know where it went....) Can anyone help me?

    TIA

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

There are lots of sites on the web that will help you look for missing persons. But most charge, but there are a few that don't. If they are military people you can look on military web sites and you can also try white pages...don't know if this will help but it is worth a try..

Have you tried MySpace? I have had a fair amount of success looking for people that I have lost contact with there. It might be worth a try. Good luck!

Try classmates .com. Even though you have to pay to use their premium services, you can at least find out if she's registered with them (and if you have a friend with a membership, they could send her an email on your behalf).

Also, zabasearch is supposed to be good.

I did a Yahoo serch on "Find lost friends" just out of curiosity.... several free sites popped up that are bulletin board-type sites where you can post info on the person you are looking for. Not sure how successful that would be as none of them seemed to be high-traffic sites, but it's a place to start.
