    Talking My VERY Own Copy!!

My copy of TightWad Gazette just arrived. I don't want to go to lunch because I want to read it right now!! I'm so excited.

Ok, maybe I've never been this excited about a book, but I am right now!

I'm telling you, tonight I'm gonna be reading this puppy while I cook!

SO EXCITED! and i love the cover.. is that weird? the front page says "promoting thrift as a viable alternative lifestyle".

My boyfriend (we might as well be married we've been together so long, no babies though..) likes the fact that i've made saving money a sport. i love it too! - yes, it used to be much more fun when I had money left over at the end of the month, because now most of the time i dont. expenses increased, unexpected car accident, you get the picture. But, I'm not hungry. I'm learning to cook a variety of things and I'm happy!

Hope yall had a great weekend ladies! and fellas...

You will love it, I love the way it's written with a lot of humor...it's fun to read and you'll pick up something new each time you go back threw it.

Woooo-hooo!!! You are gonna LOVE it!!! It is THE best!!! Hooray!

Let us know what you think!! I gave my Aunt a copy of TWG III for Christmas (she's never had any of them and that was the one I came across at a second hand store...we always exchange 2nd hand gifts). She is LOVING it!!! She's about 40 pages in...

I hope you enjoy yours as much as she's enjoying her copy!!

My kids bought my copy as my mother's day gift a few years ago. I take it out about every three months and I swear I learn something new even though I have read it cover to cover. It is one of the things I turn to (besides these forums) when I need motivation to stay on track. Glad you are excited about it - it is a wonderful book.

One of my favorite books too! I got The Complete TWG for Christmas and spent the whole week until New Year's reading it. I have made some recipes from there, the seafood casserole recipe is the one we now eat once a week. I pick it up just about every other day to reread sections. Enjoy your copy!!!!
