Thrifty Thursday....plans?

Good morning villagers!

How is everyone today? Got lots to do? How's the weather where you are? Well it's gonna be nice here for the last day for a while. I think we're expecting near 60 ish. I'm up early cuz I'm about to jump in the shower and get ready to drive my ddad into the city for his colonoscopy. I sure wish he's figure out how to get the 'early' appointments....!

Anyway, we'll get 'er done and get home early I reckon. Other than that I'm going to mail a book I sold on half.com and maybe have a nap this afternoon. If I'm feeling energetic I may do some sort of workout as well. I didn't sleep at all last night so I'm sure I'll be draggy after another short night and early morning and trip into the city. I don't know how people make this drive everyday (my best friend does, she works in the city and it's an hour's drive each way...she leaves at 7 am and gets home at 7 pm....). Anyway I hope you all have a thrifty day and get lots done.

well i think this is the calm before the storm. today is supposed to be fairly nice with the nasty weather hitting tonight into the weekend.
gonna make bed
shower
take some stuff out of the shed and take it to work
go to work
that is about it. i don't feel well so i will be in bed early tonght

Is cold here this morning in NC, I have gotten the kids off to school. My 2yr old is still sleeping. I am sitting here enjoying a cup of coffee before I get in the shower. Today I plan on starting to go through my kids closets and dressers, part of the new year decluttering process. Kind of sad I have this much clutter considering we just moved here in June from Florida and prior to our move we sold, donated, trashed 90% of our stuff. I think in the past few months not only did I replace what we got rid of but ended up with more.

Brrrrr! It's a c-c-cold here in Norther NY!

Today I have a *gulp* dentist appt

I'll be bringing my iPod so I can drown out the sounds of the drill lol.
Then I have to pick up ds's prescriptions. I may run up to Walmart to exchange dd's possessed alarm clock since I forgot to bring it with me last time I went.

I also need to:
~load & run the dishwasher
~make the bed
~MORE laundry (does it ever end??)
~vacuum downstairs
~declutter the living room & dining room
~reign in all the toys all over the house
~workout, probably after my dentist appt

I don't have much planned today as it's a routine weekday witch means there's not time to really plan for many extras. I'll work while the kids are at school, dinner and general chores after school and then we'll probably buzz by my parents house to visit with my brother and his kids as they'll be leaving town tommorrow evening. (They came in to help out with Dad this week). I do however have lots of plans already spinning out of control in my head for what needs to get done this weekend. Enjoy you're day all!!!

It's warmer than yesterday... it's 35 right now, supposed to get up to about 42. Today's plans:

*Post office to ship a couple of pkgs
*clean masterbedroom & bath
* laundry

And I forgot to add....I have to go visit my mother in the hospital. She was re-admitted yesterday for bloodclots in her lungs

Just after Christmas she had hernia surgery and this is a complication from that.

Morning all. Yankeemom, I hope your mom is ok. Dh had staff duty last night so he should be home in an hour or so. Then he will go to bed and sleep half the day. The boys are getting ready to go to school. Since dh will be sleeping I will putter around the house today. I need to run to Walmart to pick up some cat food and a few other things. Tomorrow is grocery shopping out of different monies.
Other then that it should be a quiet day here. Have a good day and keep your military in your thoughts

Good Morning All Laurie Waves back.
Its a beautiful 52 here this morning. Once again I have sent DH off before dawn to work in Orlando with DS on the new Carrabba's resturant.
For me the day will begin with a list of errands.

First to Tampa to pick up paycheck I didn't pick up yesterday - had unexpected company.
Then to the bank
To the meat market to pick up meat
A run down south to Sarasota to pick up a load of stuff for one the chariites I work with.
Then home for the rest of the day or what will be left of it by the time I'm done running.
Make dinner
Continue sorting out clippings

~Wow the kids let me sleep in til 8! They're usually up by 7:15 so that was nice! I'm not gonna aim for to much stuff today because of my 'blessing'. I do have to take Ro to the Doctor's this morning. Annual check-up with 2-4 shots. Poor baby. Before we get there I have to get gas in the car and stop at Walgreens. Other than that I might just fold laundry and do a few sewing repairs as I watch 'Pride & Prejudice" all afternoon! Hope everyone has a GREAT day!~

Geesh it's cold here. I would like the 60's back we had last week.
Already today I have:
Got DH off to work.
Got DS1 and DS2 off to school.
Put dinner in the crockpot.
Done 2 loads of laundry.
Fed the dogs.
Still need to:
Finish washing the sheets and make all beds.
Wash towels.
Vaccuum.
Sweep the kitchen.
Wipe down bathrooms.
Pick DS2 up from school and head over to DS1's wrestling meet.
Clean up from dinner.
RELAX!

It's 32 degrees here in Omaha this morning. They are predicting another snow storm this weeekend...yuck!

Today I need to:
Make the bed
Work on laundry (the never ending story)
Pay bills (didn't get this done yesterday)
Buy dd her birthday present (bday is Saturday)
Feed the dogs
Get some school work done

cold here too.
i gonna fold some laundry maybe do a load if DS basket is full
Sent DH to the post office to return some impulse buys
thinking about going to the craft shop for terra cotta pots for crafting (50% off)
waiting for DH to get home about 1pm hoping to do some fun family stuff
working out tonite and going to the coffee shop after with workout buddies
still working on organizing my basment storage
figuring out what to wear to office party tomorrow for my part time job

Not much going on today..same old stuff.
