    Unhappy My poor baby...

It's possible that Lauren fractured her arm...she fell down a few stairs at about 6:00 last night. They didn't seen any obvious breaks or fractures, but they said she may have a fracture in her growth plates that they just can't see via Xray.

She has a splint, ace bandage, and sling...if she's still in pain on Monday we need to call the orthopedic dr..

My brother came immediately (he seriously must have flown here) and stayed with Kathryn while I took Lauren to the ER. I am relieved that it's over because I really wasn't handling it well!

I'm so glad Dave will be home tomorrow. I really don't know how single parents do it. I was an emotional wreck.

The key is you DID handle it and still are! Extra hugs for all of you and hopes that the arm mends with as little pain as possible--and wishes for your husband's safe return. Bonus hug for Lauren, po' baby!

Hope your dd mends quickly. I always hate it when the kids are sick or in pain, just breaks my heart when I can't take the pain away from them.

Poor kid. Good thing kids are so resilient. I had to take my DD (13) into the ER last month for pelvic pain. Thought it was appendisitis, turned out to be an ovarian cyst. Either way, you just don't like it when your child is in pain or sick, no matter what age they are.
Hope your daughter is back to normal quickly.
