Another 21 over here. When I was younger I hoarded money but as soon as I got a job I started spending more which is why I'm here
but now I think I'm saving pretty good again, already got my savings account to 2,000
and NO debt to speak of. I only use my cc as a debit and only to earn points. It's nice knowing others on here are close to my age as it seems no one my age cares about saving at all.
BTW sewcrafty the cat on your avatar is really cute! I love cats.

I agree! I was a bit worried about "fitting in" but my age here has never been a problem. Heck most days I forget I'm 20 anyway, I feel so much older.
I've learned so much here and I'm really glad I started this now. Especially reading about how if people knew about frugal village when they were in their 20s they would be much better off. We aren't drowning in debt but I don't want it to get to the point we are.
I just wanna say thank you for all the support and ideas I've got here.
(Crap I'm getting all teary eyed, I need to shut up now. haha.)

That's me!I'm 24, I think I've seen someone else around here younger than me though, I think she has "Marty" in her user ID, but I could just be going crazy.
I'm 21 but will turn 22 in May. I too was afraid that I wouldn't fit in at first, but I love the site. It's a great place to ask for advice and to gain some knowledge for the future when I'm out of college and into the real world (which is in May, ack!)....and the things I've learned are helping now too!
It would be awesome to have a get together with everyone here some day... maybe if we got discounts at the hotel we could still consider it frugal? lol..
i'm not the youngest, but i'm one of the youngest..

Agreed, wholeheartedly. I was worried I wouldn't fit in either -- not because of my age, normally I get along far better with people older than me (despite
being 2.5 years younger
) but because I didn't have kids or have a lot of debt or a mortgage -- I felt very juvenile at first. But I fit in purdy darn good once I got posting.
I'm so glad I started this post!
