    Default I finally made it over here!

    Hello everyone! I've belonged to Homestead Garden for many years now. I'm known as Maggie there, but that name is taken here at FV...so I've decided I'll be MaggieMay here. (Hope I can adjust to the small identity crisis!)
    I'm guessing I might know some of you from HG.
    I'm a New Zealander(YAY!)
    DH & I have just moved from our 3 acre small farm to 10 acres, so we're currently settling in, establishing a fruit & vege garden with the aim of self-reliance... and expanding our interest of simple living. We have two milking goats, 42 sheep and various chooks. Life is very good in this little piece of paradise in the South Pacific!
    It's summer here right now and 30C today. At this time of year I'm busy outdoors but I'm looking forward to contributing from time to time as I'm able.
    I was fortunate to visit the USA last year and loved meeting so many friendly people.
