    Cool Winter has come...

Okay, so I know all y'all up north see this all the time, but here in south central Texas having an ice storm like this is totally unusual. *Sigh* if only we were about 40 miles to the north, it would be snow. But instead of the fun stuff we get to slip and slide instead. Anyway, here's a pic of the icicles hanging off our roof. This is the second day of this for us and I say, "Bring on the warmer weather again!" Hope everyone else is having a better weather day!

Hang in there you know that things will get better but here in upstate NY we have alot more winter to go. This morning it was -6* and their is ice still on the trees and my road has been closed since Monday afternoon due to fallen trees. I know it will be better by April. Good luck and stay warm.

    Stay safe and warm!

We still have a ton of ice around from the storm that hit us over the weekend and it's really nasty.

Michelle, we must live very close because if I lived just a few more miles morth we would have snow too, but instead we ended up with ice. The only good thing about it is we get to stay home from school today!

    Try to stay warm.

When we went to bed last night he ground here was covered in snow and the wind was blowing. Got up this morning and ..~poof~...no snow. Must've blew away. 24 degrees but wind chill was below zero. Suppose to be a snow storm coming Friday night into Saturday.

Yep, we're probably neighbors!LOL. Our kids were also out of school and thank goodness DH doesn't have to work tonight. I did get to see five patients today, keeping to the sidestreets. It really wasn't so bad. I actually love cold weather, much better than the 100 degree stuff we get in the summer. But, man oh man, spending the entire day inside with the family yesterday just about drove me loopy, especially my very hyper 11 year old DS . Extreme case of cabin-fever for all of us. I was secretly glad to brave the streets today and go back to work.

We had freezing rain yesterday for a couple minutes then it snowed & today we had fog. Now they are saying no more snow & it's finally warming up, infact today is the first day in over a week that it has actually been above the 30's {it's 40 right now}.
