    Default Hello

    Hi, all

Just posted a thread on the "relationships" forum, but thought I'd put the question out here as well.
Simply, any suggestions for fugal dating. (I'm not talking about cheap date ideas-lots of things on the web for that) I'm looking for how to meet like-minded people. No dating sites that I can find for that, like there are for a lot of other "niche" groups.
    Thanks, have a great day,
    David

Hi David, welcome to the Village.

Frugal people are everywhere, lol. If I were you I'd get involved in volunteering. Other places to find like minded people are in thrift shops, garage & estate sales, flea markets, produce section of your local grocery...free concerts, library, bookstores...Just strike up a conversation, you never know where it may lead.

I have a thought...a used book store here in Omaha used to have an area to sit and read. If you have any used book stores in your area, they might have something similar. And if someone is looking for used books, they just might be frugal in other ways too!
