books
I am absolutely a bookaholic and just get lost in reading. Used to buy books, then used the library a lot (in fact, my library card is literally wearing out - to avoid a $10 replacement fee, I have scotch taped the whole thing together - it's 331 years old!!)
Anyway.....on the other side (of the island) about 45 minutes away, there is a Friends of the Library book store - out in the sugar cane fields, no electricity, for frills. Most books are 10 cents each. I have even found some brand new books for a dollar that have made great gifts.
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.
