Wow, is that for payment on the mortgage (as in, you would be purchasing the home for $595 a month) or is that for rent? That sounds wonderfully low to me for a house payment! Keep us updated.

Ok came back from the house wellllllllllllllllllllllll
iyts got too much work yoo. I know its got some old fashion charm and fancy moldings. Buttttttttt needs all new windows(they cant open), needs new kitchen flooring. and all the house needs to be painted. She says shes not aslum landlord and after three months of being there (beacuse no lease signing) she will then let us repair a little at atime. Wev can fix it, she pay for the supplies but wont take anything off the rent. As long as we keep the place up and help fix it she wont raise the rent. But with no signing i dont trust her. I would want her to sign to say that in acertain amount of time she would have to do so so to the place etc.
Like my hubby said maybe she would only do 1 window at a time, and the paintimng and fixing up and maintence of the place is alot. The moulding frames and etc, needed to be all holes filled in, snaded every where and fixed. The staircase well that would have to be taken out . Its terrible looking. Cheaper to put in new rungs. The bedroom upstairs arent very big and the oldest ones for the 14 yr old I dont how i would get his furniture in it. The best part of the house is the back yard and the large step.
she said $575 , hubby made mistake on price rent.
I hate the idea of putting so much work into someones elses house and then 3 years down the road her morgage is done on it. She said if we wanted we could rent to own. By then the land taxes might be sky high beacuse of all the fixins we would of done.

I dont know , we'll think about it. I cant see it, hubby doesnt want too much extra work on his hands again. especially waiting for his surgery. maybe its not for us.
