    Exclamation New from Maine

    hope I do this correctly! First time poster to anything!

    How did you hear about frugal village?
    googled "frugal" and found this great site, have been lurkng--seems like lots of nice people out there from all walks of life who are in the same boat as I am

    What interests you here?
    support for staying on budget & trying to get rid of debt as well as trying to drop a few of the holiday pounds

    Do you know any other members here?
    no
    How many kids? Ages?
    one adult daughter and adorable grandson-almost 2

    Tell us about yourself.
    married quite young for about a minute and a half over 20+ years ago; working professional, stressful job but have ok salary and benefits so try to be grateful. However even with decent salary, debt still there. As I get older, more concerned with saving $$ and paying down debt. Must admit I am a former shopaholic & still enjoy my happy hours with the girls. Have been trying to stick to a budget for over year now, but always seems like something comes up ( called life!!)

    Do you own any pets?
    not anymore, but am a dog lover

    SAHM or Working mom?
    work full time
    Married or single?
    single
    Interests and hobbies?
    enjoy refinishing furniture, minor home repairs, home decorating TV shows, reading mysteries when have time, enjoy BBC type mysteries as well, have the Tightwad Gazette books and try to pull them out for inspiration once in a while
